Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT) is an organization dedicated to furthering gender-diverse equality in Texas. They work to accomplish this through education and networking in both public and private forums. Through their efforts, we strive to halt discrimination through social, legislative, and corporate education.
TENT is the largest statewide, BIPOC trans-led, trans-focused policy, education, and advocacy organization in the state of Texas.
In 2023, TENT worked relentlessly in collaboration with the community and partner organizations during the legislative session this past spring. Their efforts included working to file 145 proactive bills to enrich all Texan lives, as well as providing the community with food, space spaces, workshops, and counseling support.
